Cracking & de-lamination was discovered around the keel joints of Avalon a First 405. Removal & replacement of all 9 keel bolts was recommended.We removed the mast, rigging, keel & engine & removed & replaced the keelbolts. Then re-laminated & reinforced the damaged areas.

Fabricating a new rudder
 
 
Avrio - a GRP Van de Stat 32 lost its rudder while sailing. She was hauled out at Aktio marine for a replacement There was no profile to work with but we fabricated a new rudder with wood & glass fibre composite, replaced the bearings and attached the new rudder to the yacht
